The Box

The Box is a new feature film about a young woman, Cassie, who is kidnapped and mentally tortured while being forced to live in a wooden crate.

Feb. 26, 2006- Archangel Productions is now accepting headshots, resumes and demo reels from actors and actresses interested in acting in THE BOX. CHARACTERS

CASSIE: Early to mid-20s. A snotty, spoiled little daddy's girl who gets what she wants, usually. Thinks she can control any situation by intimidation and fearlessness even when she's too ignorant to know that she is anything BUT in control of the situation.

THE MAN: Middle aged. No specific age. A bit of a momma's boy. Not as weird as, say, Norman Bates. Acts as normal as you or me, usually. This "normality" facade makes him scarrier than if he was a monster. Still lives at home with mom. Jealous of successful brother. Constantly wears some sort of face covering while around Cassie to hide... something.

KYLIE & KASEY: Cassie's best friends. Just as snotty and spoiled as Cassie. Both are at a party with Cassie where Kasey is trying to hook up with a guy. NOTE: The role of Kasey will require kissing and making out with a male actor.

CASSIE'S FATHER: Mid to late 50s. Small role. Comes to try and save Cassie from danger.

THE MAN'S FRIEND: Mid to late 40s. Comes to visit The Man one nightonly to find the Man's horrible secret in the Box. A bit of a loser. Hates his wife. Hangs with loser buddies talking about sci-fi and horror movies when he should be at home.

KASEY'S GUY: Small non-speaking role. Early to mid-20s. A guy Kasey hooks up with and makes out with at a party. NOTE: Requires you to kiss and make out with the actress portraying Kasey.

Archangel Productions is accepting donations via paypal and personal check from those who wish to help produce The Box. A $20, $30, or $50 donation will help us pay for the cast and crew, provide meals on set and assist in post production. In return, you will get a Producer, Associate Producer or Executive Producer credit (depending on your donation) and a copy of the finished DVD signed by the director. Be a part of a B-horror movie!

Also, those wishing to become investors may contact me via the CONTACT INFO page. The only requirement will be a minimum investment of $100. With this you will be earning a share of the net profits from the sale of the movie and DVDs.

$50 - Executive Producer

includes: An Executive Producer credit PLUS a signed copy of the finished DVD by writer/director Michael Kazlo II PLUS a signed poster PLUS a signed copy of the script.

$30 - Associate Producer

includes: An Associate Producer credit PLUS a signed copy of the finished DVD by writer/director Michael Kazlo II PLUS a signed poster.

$20 - Producer

includes: A Producer credit PLUS a signed copy of the finished DVD by writer/director Michael Kazlo II.
